Visit the University of Kentucky's Basketball Museum. The Headley-Whitney Museum where exhibits can vary from ancient Chinese pottery to Victorian costumes. Plan a day in Lousville at Kentucky Kingdom, Kentucky's premiere theme park. While in Louisville, you won't want to miss the Louisville Zoo! Spend your day shopping in Lexington or hunt for antiques in the quaint town of Nonesuch. Take a break from your antique hunting for a quiet lunch at the Glitz, a popular tea room. Just make sure to make your reservations first! If you're still hungry after a day of exploring, visit one of Lexington's many restaurants.

Outdoor Activities

For the nature lover options abound, Mammoth Cave National Park is just a couple of hours from your front door. The longest cave system in the World shouldn't be missed! Hiking and backwoods camping can be found in the Red River Gorge with miles and miles of trails and campsites, and one of the countries most beautiful natural bridges. If fishing is your thing then you'll love Kentucky for its many lakes. If none of that intrigues you, spend a quiet evening watching the native wildlife from Rabbit Creek's backyard or take a dip in the large swimming pool. Maybe a relaxing hike to the small creek located on the farm would do.
